Sogrape is one of the most prestigious wine companies in the world. Since it was created in 1942, this family company has grown and conquered the world: it sells to more than 120 countries and has vineyards in 5 countries (Argentina, Chile, New Zealand, Portugal and Spain).
The constant ambition to do more, recognising and bringing together those who make the Sogrape family, motivated the launch of a new intranet. Its purpose is to improve of the communication and collaboration between the 1000+ people who work for Sogrape around the globe.
To help with the new intranet, Sogrape got DevScope’s technical support. In turn, DevScope decided to call Fast Forward and Knowman to add value to its services.
Fast Forward and Knowman worked together to create a guiding document, detailing the use cases for the new intranet and defining the communication and adoption plans for the internal platform.
To create this document, Knowman and Fast Forward conducted 19 interviews: to all members of the Management Board, country managers, and also colleagues from operational functions.
Besides the interviews, Knowman and Fast Forward prepared an online survey for 29 other people, and ran 2 workshops to further explore, validate and prioritise the use cases identified through the previous interactions.
This work – from kick off meeting to document delivered – took 6 weeks. This contributed to the launch of WINet, Sogrape’s new intranet, just after 6 months, using Microsoft Sharepoint and Microsoft Teams.
