Ana Neves has created an interactive knowledge map to explore the topics brought up by the interviewees of the KMOL podcast.
As she was going through the interviews of the 5th series of the KMOL podcast, Ana Neves was grateful for the pool of knowledge and experience so kindly shared by the 10 Portuguese-speaking knowledge managers. She also realised how those interviews so clearly conveyed how knowledge management can mean so many different things to different professionals and organisations. She decided to plot the relationships between interviewees and topics and create a map.
The map is now available and allows anyone to interact with its content: finding out about the interviewees, exploring the knowledge topics they brought up in their interviews, discovering which professionals addressed each topic and what content is available on portal KMOL for such topic.
Used in organisational settings, knowledge maps can be used to evidence knowledge experts, identify interconnected topics, find connectors, etc. In this case, it was used as a nice visualisation instrument and an interactive way of exploring content.
