Knowman and We Need Social worked together to visualise and analyse how an aviation company sees itself and what it aspires to be.
Organisations often define their culture statements and set a list of values, which are then communicated to employees with the expectation that they will embrace and adapt their behaviors accordingly. However, this top-down approach is often ineffective, as it tends to contradict the very values it promotes, leading to mistrust and immediate resistance.
Knowman and We Need Social partnered once again, offering an aviation company a chance to invert the typical approach and use the creation of a new culture manifesto as an opportunity to engage all employees from the outset.
As another example of Network Activation, Ana Neves of Knowman and Céline Schillinger of We Need Social used inputs from a short survey and an internal podcast produced by Lagor Services to map the link between employees’ current perceptions of the company and their aspirations for its future.

This data mapping allowed us to identify main concerns, opportunities, and tensions.
These insights are now being used to spark internal conversations that will shape the culture manifesto and establish guiding principles for the company’s future.
