The Social Collaboration Maturity Scan 2023 is now available for organisations to assess their state of maturity in the use of intranets and enterprise social platforms, receive a free report with personalised recommendations and check how they compare with other organisations.

Knowman and OrangeTrail are only too aware of the positive impact of enterprise social platforms to improve internal communication, collaboration, employee engagement and knowledge sharing. However, in our projects, we see that organisations are failing to make the most of what these platforms can offer.

The Social Collaboration Maturity Scan is a free instrument for organisations to assess how mature they are in the use of their digital platforms. The answers to an online questionnaire are used to produce a free report with the maturity stage in 7 areas and a set of personalised recommendations to improve their use of enterprise social platforms.

Organisations can participate until 31 May. Their anonymised answers will be processed into the 3rd edition of the global Social Collaboration Maturity Benchmark.

This year, the Social Collaboration Maturity Scan, once again created in partnership by Knowman and OrangeTrail, has a new feature. The questionnaire is divided into four sections:

• internal communication and leadership;
• communities and knowledge management;
• teams and collaboration; and,
• support functions and digital transformation.

Those responding can choose the section, or sections, to which they want to respond based on their areas of responsibility or visibility in the organisation.

In addition to this new feature, organisations can also:

• pause and restart the survey according to their availability;
• view their personalised report as soon as they submit their responses;
• access the report online whenever they need to; and,
• choose to respond to additional sections.
